ROSEVILLE – 9 MARCH 2018
Our next show is on Friday March 9, 2018, when we present one of the most extraordinary musicians and performers in Australia - 'The Hendrix of the Hammond', LACHY DOLEY supported by superb emerging teenage Funk Rock band, BLACK IGUANA.
THE LACHY DOLEY GROUP
Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple and Black Sabbath fame, calls Lachy Doley “The greatest living keyboard player in the world today.”
Dubbed ‘the Hendrix of the Hammond’, Lachy is Australia’s most celebrated Blues Soul and Rock organ player. He pumps, pampers and pounds the most unbelievable sounds from his keyboard - sounds that are intense, ferocious and sometimes transcendent. Alongside powerhouse drummer Jackie Barnes (son of Jimmy) and bassist Joel Burton, The Lachy Doley Group is a super energetic Soul / Blues force like none other.
Black Iguana is a highly creative young Sydney three-piece band that has been recording and performing original music since early 2016. The band creates a unique blend of punchy Funk Rock and pop influences mixed with post-punk vibes. Still teenagers, Black Iguana cut its teeth busking on Manly Corso, but has since played festival and large public stages, including an appearance at the famous Manly Jazz Festival.
